Surrendering to life...

My one hand rests on her belly, slightly below her navel, my other hand under her back exactly where her meng-meng is, the portal of life, where all life force energy enters.

It is palpable in her body how she has cut herself off from the nourishment of the earth, the source of life.

She finds it difficult allowing my touch in her pelvic area. Her whole body is locked. She pushes away all bedding and nourishment from the female pole.

I feel so many old wounds in her body. Injuries that are not hers but that she wears out of loyalty to her women's lineage. The fight modus that is constantly active in her body is palpable.the loneliness that this creates in her body feel safer than when she would surrender to the larger field of nature resources like earth.

By doing so she cuts herself off of her own natural self. I guide her then through a visualisation exercise so that her body can rest in the deep dark blue water of a place in nature. Only when the body can really rest, can we allow healing to happen in the body, just by being in rest modus.

Living mainly in her head has been her way to escape from the usurpation and intensity of earthly life and having to feel it.

It is precisely by resting in the vital source of life force energy that she can slowly melt the distrust, anger, fear, powerlessness, and wounds that she still carries in her body.

She no longer has to push it away from old instinct and ego survival modus and flee into her head.By allowing herself to open and allowing the touch more deeply so that the past no longer determines its actions in the now. In deep surrender with life.
